Edinburg Chamber Announces July 4th Car Show

The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a custom truck hotrod and car show during its Texas Cook’Em High Steaks in Edinburg event. The FREE family-friendly event will happen Sunday, July 4, at Ebony Hills Golf Course from 12 P.M. – 4 P.M. 

Texas Cook’Em is one of Texas’s biggest BBQ purse, awarding $16,000 to the winners. In 2019, Texas Cook’Em drew 120 cooking teams from across the state and over 3,000 citizens attended this State Championship event. 

The car show is just one of many activities happening at Texas Cook’Em event.

Additionally, Texas Cook’Em have vendors, live music, a children’s fun area and of course delicious barbeque. Gates will open at 10:30 A.M. 

A performance by Def Leggend, the world’s greatest tribute to def leppard will kick-off the FREE concert.  Following is a a spectacular firework display at 9 P.M. Last but not least is a performance by American Country Award winner, Easton Corbin. 

Registration for vehicle entries are now open. Judges are going to award the Best Paint Award, Best Engine Award, Best of Show Car Award, and Best of Show Truck Award. There is no registration fee to enter a vehicle into the show.
