Edinburg, TX — July 3, 2024 — The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with its organizing committee for Texas Cook’Em High Steaks In Edinburg, announces the postponement of the 2024 festivities scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2024, due to severe weather warnings.
In collaboration with the City of Edinburg and Emergency Management, event organizers are closely monitoring Hurricane Beryl as it enters the Gulf. The decision prioritizes the safety of attendees and community members, as the forecast predicts high winds and heavy rain.
Participants and vendors have expressed concerns about the safety of their staff and potential damage to products and equipment with the anticipated weather conditions.
