    PlainsCapital Bank Sponsors 2018 Edinburg Chamber Installation Banquet

    Edinburg – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Staff will hold its Annual Installation Banquet on Friday, November 9, 2018. PlainsCapital Bank will sponsor the 87th celebration at the Social Club in Edinburg located at 205 Conquest Blvd. “We can’t thank PlainsCapital Bank enough for sponsoring our Chamber Installation Banquet, “said Edinburg Chamber Interim Executive Director Ronnie Larralde. “They have been a member of our Chamber for over 30 years and we appreciate their continued support to this community and our program of work.”

    The Installation Banquet is being held to recognize those special individuals who do great work for the Edinburg community. The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce will recognize the 2018 Man and Woman of the Year, Robert and Janet Vackar, Owners of Bert Ogden Auto Group; Chamber Ambassador of the Year: Agustin Lozano Jr. (Bert Ogden Auto Group); Outstanding Leadership Award recipient: Bay and Thelma Rex, and City of Edinburg Firefighter of the Year: Michael A. Luna. The Chamber will also welcome Ms. Jennifer Garza, Vice President of Operations for Superior Health Plan as the incoming President of the Board for the 2018-2019 year. Tickets to attend the Annual Banquet are $35 per person or $350 for a table of 8. Attire will be business casual and all are encouraged to attend this wonderful event.
