Edinburg Chambers Public Affairs Series To Reflect Legislative and Congressional Session
Elected Officials, U.S. Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, Texas State Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, and Texas State Representative Terry Canales will give a rundown of key bills they passed.
The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce (ECC) Public Affairs Committee, headed by Mario Lizcano (ECC Vice President of Public Affairs) and Ronnie Larralde (ECC- President) will present a Legislative Briefing Breakfast. The chamber welcomes area leaders to attend the discussion scheduled for Friday, August 20, 2021 at 9 A.M.
Join us as Texas State Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, and Texas State Representative Terry Canales provide a briefing on the 87th Texas State Legislature. U.S. Congressman Vicente Gonzalez will discuss key bills that will affect the Rio Grande Valley. The discussion will be moderated by Edinburg Chamber President of the Board, Veronica Gonzales.
The chambers Public Affairs series are an initiative introduced in 2006, and since then have covered popular topics with speakers that cover important community and legislative issues. The vision is to inform, involve and educate chamber investors and civic leaders. The event also allows business professionals to meet, network and create opportunities for the companies they represent.
The cost to attend the breakfast is $35 per person. Tables of 8 are available for $500 for non members and $400 for members.The breakfast will take place at Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance located at 118 Paseo Del Prado in Edinburg.
