Edinburg Chamber Announces Return of Texas Cook’Em Event

Free concert and firework show to be held on July 4th
The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce proudly presents its 15th Annual Texas Cook’ Em: High Steaks in Edinburg. The 4th of July event is set to be held at the Ebony Hills Golf Course, 300 W. Palm Dr.
Texas Cook’Em is one of the states biggest BBQ purse, awarding $16,000 to the winners. In 2019, Texas Cook’Em drew 120 cooking teams from across the state. As well as, 3,000 citizens attended this State Championship event.
Competitors will battle it out on the grill to cook the best chicken, ribs, pork brisket and rib-eye. The winner will take home money and a year’s worth of bragging rights.
During the event, there will be vendors, live music, a children’s fun area and of course delicious barbeque. Gates will open at 9 A.M. for attendees to enjoy family fun activities.
Music performers are set to play throughout the day.
Kicking off the FREE concert is Def Leggend, the world’s greatest tribute to def leppard. At sunset attendees can expect a spectacular firework display.
Last but not least, American Country Award winner, Easton Corbin will close out the event with a concert.
Attendees in the general admissions area are more than welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Alternatively, VIP tables with premier viewing will be available for purchase by contacting the Edinburg Chamber.

CBA Grand Champion will be invited to compete at the American Royal in September of 2021 in Kansas City, Missouri, alongside the best of the best in the competitive barbecue circuit.
Steak Champion will be invited to compete at the SCA World Steak Championship
in 2022 to compete with the best steak grillers in the circuit.
