Edinburg Chamber Announces Departure of Membership Director
The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce announces the departure of its Director of Membership, Christina Barrera. Barrera will be relocating and serving as the Economic Development Coordinator at the City of Lewisville Economic Development Corporation.
“We are very appreciative of all the hard work that Christina has done for us over the last 1.5 years. Christina has played an integral role at the chamber and I would like to wish Christina the best of success in all future endeavors. She will be sincerely missed,” said Ronnie Larralde, Executive Director at the Edinburg Chamber.
Barrera joined the Edinburg Chamber in February 2021 and has increased membership numbers by 25%.
The Edinburg Chamber is currently seeking candidates for the Director of Membership position. The Membership Director will be responsible for the following:
- Prospect and locate qualified leads
- Sell new memberships
- Meet monthly sales goals
- Process new member applications and ensure new members are engaged
- Develop interesting member programs
- Track member activity and regularly engage with members to increase member retention
- Staff our volunteer Membership Committee
- Keep accurate and timely records of all prospect/member contact in member database
