The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce has announced the departure of its Director of Membership, Dulce Cortina, who has been a key part of the Chamber for the past two years.
“We are incredibly grateful for Dulce’s contributions to our organization,” said Ronnie Larralde, Executive Director of the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. “Her dedication and hard work have been instrumental to our growth. While we will miss her greatly, we wish Dulce nothing but success in her future endeavors.”
Under Cortina’s leadership, the Chamber saw a significant increase in membership, with numbers rising by 35% since she joined in September 2022.
With Cortina’s departure, the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce is now seeking to fill two pivotal roles that will be crucial to the Chamber’s ongoing success and the prosperity of the Edinburg business community: Director of Membership and Special Events Coordinator.
Director of Membership
The Director of Membership will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships within the business community. This individual will lead efforts in membership recruitment and retention, develop strategies to enhance member satisfaction, and ensure that the Chamber continues to deliver value to its diverse membership. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in sales, customer service, or a related field, coupled with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Events Coordinator
The Events Coordinator will be tasked with planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events that align with the Chamber’s mission and support its members. From large community gatherings to intimate networking events, this role demands a creative, detail-oriented individual with experience in event planning and project management and a strong passion for community engagement.
