The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and the City of Edinburg are thrilled to announce the commencement of the holiday season with the Hometown Holiday Celebration! Set to take place on November 30 and December 1, 2023, the festivities promise to transform the City of Edinburg’s Downtown District into a magical winter wonderland.
Kicking off the festivities, on November 30, 2023, the City of Edinburg will illuminate its downtown district with a spectacular Light of the Tree event at Promenade Park, 201 McIntyre St. Visitors are invited to revel in the festive spirit and explore the enchanting Pop-Up holiday market, which will remain open until December 1, offering an array of seasonal delights.
The highlight of the celebration is the Night of Lights parade scheduled for Friday, December 1, 2023, at 7 P.M. The parade route will follow South Closner Boulevard, showcasing a dazzling array of floats and entertainment, all in line with this year’s theme, “Santa’s Workshop.” Attendees can expect a creative and heartwarming display of floats designed around beloved children’s toys.
